Frequently Asked Questions

Finding the right counsellor for you is key to successful therapy. Book a free consultation today and we can look at any questions you may have.

There is no pressure to see me after this initial consultation. If I am not the right person for you, then I will happily suggest other resources or professionals that may be better able to serve you.

  • What type of therapy is offered?
I am a BACP registered, person-centred counsellor, working with individuals of all ages, and with all kinds of challenges.
  • How long does therapy last?
Therapy typically lasts at least 12 weeks, but can also continue far longer than that. We review progress together every 6 weeks. I do not have any cut off limit, but find that most clients will end their sessions after 12 to 18 weeks.
  • Do you offer couple counselling?
I do not offer to see couples together. I find it to be more effective to offer therapy to one person only in the relationship that is experiencing challenges.
